I read a question someone asked about God asking if it’s possible that all the religions believe in the same God and if it’s just that they are interpreting His words differently which sparked me off into writing this article.

1 Kings 18:21-39 Elijah was telling the people that if their god is God then follow him but if the Lord is God then follow Him. And Elijah was saying call on the name of your gods and I will call on the name of the Lord and the God that answers by fire let him be God and all the people agreed. God proved He was THE LORD that day. The Lord proved that He was the only true living God that day because He was the only one who answered by fire. Baal and the gods they believed in couldn’t do anything because they don’t even exist. There is only one true living God. Elijah said if the Lord is God then follow Him and so by this scripture and many others we know that The Lord is God and because of 1 Corinthians 12:3 we know that Jesus is The Lord. 1 Corinthians 12:3 says that Jesus is The Lord and if The Lord is God and if Jesus is The Lord then that means Jesus is God.

They said , “The Lord, He is the God” ok so if The Lord is God and if Jesus is THE LORD then this means that Jesus is God.

Seek after The Lord with all your heart and with all your soul and in His own time maybe right away or maybe years down the road He will reveal Himself to you and then you will know that The Father The Son and The Holy Spirit are the one and only true living God. In Matthew 7:7 it says,  “ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened unto you.” I heard a sermon one time years ago and I don’t remember who it was giving the sermon but he was saying something like how in the original scriptures it’s actually saying, “keep asking, keep seeking, keep knocking.” That makes sense to me because in my own personal experience I had to keep seeking after The Truth with all my heart for years before God gave me all the proof I needed to believe and know without a shadow of a doubt that Jesus is no fairy tale. Thanks to God I know for a fact without a shadow of a doubt that Jesus is The Lord and that He is The Way The Truth And The Life. This makes me think of a scripture in the book of James saying you have not because you ask not and it also says you ask and you receive not because you ask amiss so that you may consume it upon your lusts. If you want to have a personal encounter with The Lord Jesus Christ God Almighty so that you can know 100% without a shadow of a doubt that He is The Way The Truth And The Life then you gotta keep asking, keep seeking, and keep knocking with all your heart. Also obviously if you ask for something that isn’t God’s will to give then obviously He won’t give it no matter how much you ask which makes me think of Romans 12.

I was doing some research and one of God’s names is Elohim and Elohim means the plural one. Jesus is The Father The Son and The Holy Ghost. How can one be plural? The Bible makes it clear that there is only One Lord, only One God. Ok so if there is only one Lord, and only one God and if The Lord is God and Jesus is THE LORD then this means that Jesus is not only the son of God but that He is also God Himself who has always existed. He came from everlasting lived a sinless life and was killed for it. Jesus died on the cross for our sins rose on the third day and ascended into heaven to sit at the right hand of God. So Jesus ascended into heaven to sit at the right hand of Himself. Elijah said he will call on the name of THE LORD. In 1 Corinthians 12:3 where it’s teaching of spiritual gifts it says no one can say that Jesus is The Lord but by The Holy Ghost and The Holy Ghost is The Spirit of The Lord Jesus Christ God Almighty. Id like to post 1 Corinthians 12:3 again.

Ok so if Elijah was calling on the name of The Lord then He was calling on Jesus whether he knew it or not because Jesus is The Lord. The Old Testament prophesied of Jesus calling His name Immanuel and Emmanuel means God with us. So Jesus was not only The Son of God but He is also God with us.

Wow Isaiah 7:14-16 is three 7’s and three verses. Isaiah 7 saying, The Lord Himself shall give us a sign and we know that Jesus is THE LORD HIMSELF because 1 Corinthians 12:3 is saying that Jesus is THE LORD.

Notice how in Isaiah 7:14 it says The Lord Himself shall give you a sign and how in 1 Corinthians 12:3 is says Jesus is THE LORD. This means Jesus Himself gave us the sign Isaiah 7:14 was talking about by knitting Himself together into the virgin Mary’s womb, making Himself into flesh and being born of a virgin so that He could dwell among us in the flesh. The Word does not contradict itself so if The Bible says that Jesus is The Lord then that means Jesus is The Lord Himself. He is The Lord Jesus Christ God Almighty. The KJV is the hardest version to understand because of the old English language it is written in so when studying The Bible I would suggest comparing the scriptures in the KJV with the scriptures in other versions because sometimes that makes the scriptures easier to understand but what I really don’t understand is why most of the other versions if not all of the other versions take out the word, “the” from Jesus is “the” Lord and instead they say, “Jesus is Lord” The KJV says, “Jesus is the Lord” but in most of the other versions if not all of the other versions it says, “Jesus is Lord” It seems to me that by taking away the word, “the” that this is taking away from The Word Of God but I could be wrong because in all the other versions they say, “ only One Lord, only One Spirit, only One God and that it’s the same Lord, the same Spirit, the same God which worketh all in all so maybe the other versions aren’t taking away from The Word of God by taking away the word, “the” because of what all the other scriptures say with it but like I said it just seems to me like it’s taking away from The Word of God but at the same time I know that everything isn’t always what it seems. Jesus is THE ONE AND ONLY LORD GOD. Notice how 1 Corinthians 12:4-6 talks about The Father The Son And The Holy Spirit being one and the same  by saying it’s the same Spirit, the same Lord, the same God. The Father The Son and The Holy Spirit are not 3 separate beings. Jesus is THE LORD and He is the one and only true living God.

See right here in 1 Corinthians 12:4-6 it’s clearly speaking of The Father The Son and The Holy Spirit as being one and the same saying it’s the same Spirit, The Same Lord, the same God which worketh all in all. I heard a sermon one time years ago I don’t remember who was giving the sermon but he was talking about that scripture where the lady was caught in adultery and they wanted to stone her to death and Jesus said if anyone among you is without sin then cast a stone at her and how they all walked away and no one threw a stone and so Jesus saved her life that day. But what I found so fascinating about this sermon was that the preacher was talking about how when they were telling Jesus that they had caught her in adultery Jesus was writing something on the ground with His finger and so the preacher said that he believes the reason Jesus was writing something on the ground with His finger like that is because that was His Way of saying that He is the one who wrote, “Do not commit adultery” It wouldn’t surprise me if that’s what Jesus was saying by writing on the ground with His finger like that because Jesus is God and the finger of God Himself did write the 10 commandments on the original stone tablets.

The hardest thing for me to understand out of all this was how in the book of Isaiah while it’s still prophesying of Jesus it says before the child knows to refuse the evil and to choose the good the land that thou abhorrest shall be forsaken of both her kings. Also the scripture where Jesus says, “My Father is greater than I.” Since we know that The Bible doesn’t contradict itself then we have to find a way for this to make sense without it being a contradiction. The reason this was hard for me to understand is because I can’t imagine God even as a child in the flesh not knowing to choose the good over the evil. I can’t even imagine God in the womb not knowing everything as He always has and also how can Jesus say that His Father is greater than He is when He is The Father? Because He is Elohim the plural one. How can one be plural? The only Way I can make sense of all of this without any of it being a contradiction is to say that God is so powerful that He can come to the earth as a child in the flesh without all His memories of being God while at the same time sitting on His throne in heaven knowing everything as He always has while at the same time being invisible and being in everything and everyone at the same time in full control of the entire universe and everyone in it including Himself as a child growing up in the flesh. God knows He’s God and He has always known that He is God and He can do anything even things that have never even entered into our minds. God can do anything even things beyond what we could ever ask or imagine.

When I think about how Jesus said, “My Father is greater than I” it makes me think of a prayer Jesus said when He said something like thank You God for hearing me and I know that You’ve always heard me but I say this for their benefit.” So there are a few things that Jesus said in The Bible that make it seem like He isn’t God like also when He said a prayer shortly before He was crucified and He asked God, “Father if your willing please take this cup from me, but Your will not mine” He said those things for our benefit as an example to teach us how we should be praying thinking and acting and at the same time not only was He fully God but he was fully man and as a man He had to teach us how to be men by example and so as a man He suffered and was tempted just like we are but at the same time round and round we go cuz it’s deeper than anything else in the universe ever could be. He knew He was God and He has always known He is God. Since there was a time as a child that Jesus didn’t yet know to choose the good over the evil this must mean that He stripped His flesh body of all of His memories because if He had all of His memories of being God then He would have known to choose the good over the evil even when He was in the womb because He is the one who created good and evil in the first place because The Word says in the book of John that He created everything and that without Him nothing was made that was made and in the book of proverbs The Word says that He created everyone and everything for Himself yes even the wicked for the day of doom. So the only Way I can make since of all this without any of it being a contradiction is to say that I believe at some point while Jesus was growing up He gave Himself all His memories back because while He was teaching and preaching He knew that He was God and that He created everything and that without Him nothing was made that was made. He has always known that He is God and so not only was He in His own flesh body of Jesus but He was and is on His throne in heaven and at the same time He is sitting at His own right hand while at the same time being in everything and everyone working in and through everything and everyone for good to those that love Him, to those who are called according to His purpose. This is how God is the only one in existence who can be the plural one because God is the only one who is omnipotent and omnipresent. I remember a scripture where Thomas said something like, “show us the Father and that will be good enough for us” and then Jesus said, “if you’ve seen me you’ve seen The Father so how you gonna say show us the Father?”

See this right here in John 14:6-9 “Jesus is saying that you can’t get to the Father except through Him but at the same time He’s saying He is The Father. Jesus can say He’s the Son of God and He can say He’s The Father because He is the Son and The Father at the same time.

The best scripture to prove that Jesus is not only the son of God but that He is also God Himself is in the beginning of the book of John where it says, “In the beginning was The Word and The Word was with God and The Word Was God. Then later on down in the scripture it says that The Word was made into flesh and dwelt among us. Ok so if The Word was God and if Jesus was The Word that was made into flesh and dwelt among us then that means Jesus is not only the son of God but He is also God Himself. Jesus is THE LORD. God is His own Son. God is omnipresent which means He’s everywhere at the same time. God is omnipotent which means He can do anything, it means He is all powerful. This means that God can be sitting on His throne in heaven while at the same time walking around here on the earth as Jesus while at the same time being invisible and being everywhere in it all and through it all at the same time. God is in it all and through it all and above it all. God is in everything and everyone at the same time. Everything is working together for good to those that love The Lord, to those who are called according to His purpose. This means that God through the entire universe and through everything and everyone in it whether they know it or not is working like a well oiled machine for good to those that love The Lord, to those who are called according to His purpose. This also means that there are no accidents or coincidences. A man’s heart plans his way but God directs His footsteps. From what was written earlier in this message we know that the Bible says, One Lord, one God, which is the same Lord, the same Spirit, the same God which worketh all in all. So if Jesus is THE LORD and if there is only one Lord, only one God, then that means that Jesus is not only the son of God but Jesus is also God Himself. If God is The Lord in the Old Testament and Jesus is The Lord in the New Testament and if there is only one Lord, only one God which is the same Lord, the same Spirit, the same God working in all and through all and above all then this means that Jesus is not only the son of God but He is also God the father and His Spirit is The Holy Spirit. The Holy Ghost is The Spirit of The Lord Jesus Christ God Almighty.

P.S. I wrote a poem years ago and it’s titled, “Mary Had A Little Lamb” and it goes like this.

Mary had a little Lamb. This little guy was and is the great I AM. He existed even before Abraham. Nothing was made without Him, not a star not a finger not a limb, not a czar not a stinger not a Tim. In the beginning even now and forever He is The Word, He is with God and He is God haven’t you heard? He was born of a virgin wow! And prophesied of in The Old Testament Word. To Him every knee shall bow, not to a Buddha man or a golden bird, He is Jesus, The Rock of our salvation and He will be heard. Big difference between Him and Allah, Jesus is alive and He’l make ya holla! In Him is life and the life is the light of men, the light shines in the darkness and the darkness does not comprehend. Ok The Truth has been revealed, that faith in Him is Your shield, and that it’s by His stripes we have been healed. Amen!
